1. How does the Marketplace work?
The marketplace at InOnIt connects talented, upcoming and emerging Indian designers of apparel, accessories, jewelry and home decor directly with customers from all over India.
2. Who takes care of shipping?
InOnIt has arranged for its logistics partner Aramex, to pick up merchandise from the designers within 5 business days of the order being placed by the customer in most cities. In other cases, the designer needs to ship the product to us directly.
3. How does my InOnIt shop work?
You send us all the product information and pictures and we take care of the rest. When you receive an order, you receive an email with the details. In addition, somebody from the team will follow up with you on each order.
4. What happens when I receive an order?
When you receive an order, we handle the payment from the buyer and send you an email immediately with the details of the order: the buyer's name and the piece(s) that they bought. We will then notify you about the order pickup date so that the product can be shipped from you end.
5. What are your fees?
Setting up your InOnIt store is FREE. There are no listing charges, monthly charges, maintenance charges or any recurring charges. InOnIt only charges a commission on the retail price of the piece when a sale is made. InOnIt does not charge commissions on shipment prices.
6. How do I get paid?
The customers pay InOnIt using the Payment gateway or the COD option. InOnIt follows a monthly payment cycle where you get paid by the 7th business day of the next month for all orders delivered in the previous month. The payment can be made by cheque or by direct transfer to your bank account.
7. How do returns or refunds work?
Returns and refunds are only offered in case of damaged or defective pieces. Besides this, InOnIt encourages designers to offer a return policy where goods can be returned up to 7 days for issues such as sizing or dissatisfaction with actual product. However, this at the discretion of the designer. All return requests need to be made within 7 days of delivery.
8. What kind of marketing do you do?
InOnIt is a combination of an e-magazine/guide and an e-shop. As such, we do direct marketing of all products on the e-store using the InOnIt.in Portal. In addition, we ensure that our website is search engine friendly by keeping up with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) guidelines. We also do many forms of paid online marketing to promote our website on Facebook, adwords and banner ads. In addition we are active on social media like Twitter and facebook and also do email marketing. We are also active in online and offline PR.
9. Do I have to sign any contracts?
There are no other formal contracts to sign but as with most websites, use of the website will indicate implicit compliance with our Terms of Use and Seller Agreements.
